Dear Lord,

Please help me learn to rely on you, to “Let Go, and Let God”. It is not my job to cover for Joe, nor is it my responsibility to play detective.

Yet at times I have the overwhelming urge to go looking/snooping. As you have seen me demonstrate in the recent past, sometimes I am able to control myself. Other times I am unable to bring myself back into focus, and get lost in the task of playing detective.

Please help me to focus on this character defect, and assist me with finding better ways to keep the focus on me.
