I had lunch yesterday with my ex father-in-law who I hadn't seen in over 2 years since the divorce. It was really great to see him and his equally awesome wife of over 8 yrs again (wife's mother died after receiving a kidney transplant) . After lunch the 3 of us went to her gravesite and said prayers for her and another friend of ours. It's such an honor to know people who are so caring and thoughtful. They are an inspiration to many that doing good things for others is a pleasure, and not a burden.

I pray that we will stay in touch more and do things like we did for so many years. I have felt a lot of guilt because of the divorce and for not contacting them since the divorce. They were always there for me and treated me like a son. They are really great people and have in essence, been the family I never had. I miss them very much and are some of the best people on this planet. I pray that nothing but good things happen to them for being who they are and for being so understanding and caring.
